Implementation of the Hospital Attendant course, aiming at preparing teams from the hospitals Oswaldo Cruz, Instituto Central do Câncer, Santa Helena and Real Beneficência Portuguesa.

1962

End of activities of the Air University, which served 91,537 students, corresponding to 42.6% of the inscriptions made by Senac in the State of São Paulo since its foundation. Start of the gradual extinction of the Commerce junior high course and of the technical courses and intensification of the creation of professionalizing courses, through the Training and Enhancement Division, aiming at filling the professional qualification needs of adult commerce employees. Conduction of the first Coffee Classification and Tasting course at the Senac school "Lauro Cardoso de Almeida", in São Paulo, and implementation of the Pharmacy Employee course in the Senac schools in the countryside.

1963

Beginning of the Poster Design and Shop Window Dressing courses in the São Paulo schools, and of the Shop Window Decoration courses in the countryside schools.

1964

Launch of courses for Waiter, Cook, Barman, Doorman/Receptionist, and Administration Secretary for Restaurants and Hotels, among others, at the Senac school "Lauro Cardoso de Almeida", headquartered at the 24 de Maio street, in São Paulo, which concentrates the hotel studies programs. On the same year, the Tourism Guide Seminar is held for college students. Beginning of the courses of Professional Mannequin, Commerce Secretary, Packaging, and Home Seller in the São Paulo schools and of Interior Decoration in the other schools.

1965

Implementation of the Practitioner Optician course, acknowledged in 1966 by the Ministry of Health and one of its kind in Brazil, with students from all over the country. The courses Tourism Guide, Enhancement in Storehouse, Hotel Secretary, Protocol and Archive, and Chief and Leadership are also implemented.

1966

Celebration of 20 years of creation of Senac with an extensive schedule of activities. Beginning of operation of the Photography Arts School, with support from the Union of Photography Arts in Sao Paulo. Inauguration of buildings built for the Senac schools "Eduardo Saigh" in Santo André and "Antônio Mont'Serrat" in Botucatu.

Inauguration of the “João Nunes Júnior" building, at Tiradentes avenue, in São Paulo. Articulation of negotiations for producing 16 mm movies with sound, to be used as a teaching resource in the areas of Sales, Beauty, Hospitality, Office and Advertising.

1969

Granting, as a free lease, by the Government of the State of São Paulo, of the Hotel de Águas de São Pedro building, for the implementation of the first teaching hotel in Latin America, with courses starting in 1970. Launch of new courses, including Tourism Technician, Facial Aesthetics, Realtor, Telephone Operator and Lift Operator.
